Silver Sky Assisted Living and Silver Sky at Deer Springs are managed by Nevada HAND, Inc. and its board-controlled affiliate, HAND Senior Living. These nonprofit organizations ensure regulatory compliance and strong financial stewardship.

Our leadership team brings exceptional expertise and compassion to the day-to-day operation of these communities, ensuring that our residents’ quality of life is maximized and that all needs are met.

Nicole Graham, R.F.A.

Nicole Graham has over eight years experience working in skilled nursing and assisted living. Prior to joining Silver Sky at Deer Springs, she held the position of Community Relations Director where she was responsible for move-ins, public relations, sales and marketing. Nicole earned a Master’s in Health Administration from University of Phoenix and a BA from Indiana University – Purdue University at Indianapolis. She is licensed as a Residential Facility Administrator (RFA). Nicole loves hearing her resident’s stories and the history they have to share. Being part of the resident’s lives at Deer Springs brings Nicole additional joy and happiness.
 


Mike Martin

Mike Martin

Michael Martin is the Assistant Administrator at Silver Sky Las Vegas and is currently working on obtaining his Residential Facility Administrator’s License. Mike has over 25 years of working with the long-term care community in providing all pharmacy needs to various long-term care facilities in the Las Vegas area. It was through his work with pharmacy that he discovered how rewarding working in an Assisted Living community could be and decided to join the team at Nevada Hand. Mike enjoys his daily interaction with the residents and getting to know each of them personally. He wants all residents to feel like family and goes out of his way to make them feel like they are home.

Kristen Holmes

Kristen Holmes is the Assistant Administrator at Silver Sky Assisted Living. She has lived in the Las Vegas area most of her life, and she has always served the community, whether with her career or through her church. Kristen has six years of experience in assisted living, three of which she worked as the house manager at Bee Hive Homes of Henderson. She enjoys doing activities with residents, singing, or styling their hair. Kristen is excited to be part of Silver Sky family and is looking forward to making new memories with the residents.

Robert Sanderson

Robert Sanderson is the Assistant Administrator at Silver Sky at Deer Springs Assisted Living. Robert has over 13 years of healthcare experience; his background includes working in youth treatment centres, mental health hospitals, and senior living communities. Prior to working for Nevada HAND, Robert worked as an Executive Director for Pacifica Senior Living and as an Assisted Living Director for Sunrise Senior Living. Robert looks forward to interacting with the residents daily and making them smile.

Adan S. Ornelas

Adan S. Ornelas is the Executive Chef at HAND Senior Living. He oversees the daily food service operations at Silver Sky and Silver Sky at Deer Springs. He strives every day to provide an exceptional dining experience for residents. Chef Adan believes nutrition is essential in every meal and takes pride in producing dishes full of color, taste, and freshness with high quality products. He has over 10 years of food service management experience,previously serving as Executive Chef for North Vista Hospital for eight years. He also has experience in high volume catering events in Las Vegas and surrounding areas. Chef Adan has completed Business Management and Culinary Programs at both Brigham Young University Idaho and the University of Florida.

Scott Conti

Scott started cooking as a child with his Italian Nonna in the Bronx. His passion for food continued in high school with his first restaurant job in a fine dining French restaurant. Later, Scott graduated from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute and worked for the Arizona Biltmore, a five-star resort in Phoenix. Scott has been a part of the opening teams for major resorts and spent five years as the Food Service Director for Atria Senior Living, where he won the Corporate Iron Chef competition twice. Scott most recently served as the Executive Chef for a popular, high-volume sports pub on the Las Vegas Strip for seven years. He was the overall peoples choice winner of the city wide epicurean event at Mandalay Bay Resort, competing againts 130 other chefs.

Maria Mandaleni-Orozco

Maria Mandaleni-Orozco began her sales and marketing career in the casino industry as a Casino Host over 19 years ago and then went to work for the State of Nevada as an Auditor with the Gaming Control Board. She decided to delve back into marketing, but this time as a Liaison for hospice and home health. Maria has a true passion for serving others, mostly, the senior population and wanted to transition into assisted living, where she feels she can make a difference in the lives of the residents and their families.
