Silver Sky Assisted Living and Silver Sky at Deer Springs are managed by Nevada HAND, Inc. and its board-controlled affiliate, HAND Senior Living. These nonprofit organizations ensure regulatory compliance and strong financial stewardship.

Our leadership team brings exceptional expertise and compassion to the day-to-day operation of these communities, ensuring that our residents’ quality of life is maximized and that all needs are met.

Nicole Graham, R.F.A.

Nicole Graham has over eight years experience working in skilled nursing and assisted living. Prior to joining Silver Sky at Deer Springs, she held the position of Community Relations Director where she was responsible for move-ins, public relations, sales and marketing. Nicole earned a Master’s in Health Administration from University of Phoenix and a BA from Indiana University – Purdue University at Indianapolis. She is licensed as a Residential Facility Administrator (RFA). Nicole loves hearing her resident’s stories and the history they have to share. Being part of the resident’s lives at Deer Springs brings Nicole additional joy and happiness.

Erin Leroux, R.N.

Erin Leroux has eight years’ education and experience in residential care. Her background includes working as Health Services Coordinator with Heritage Springs Assisted Living and Memory Care, and Lead Med Tech/Mentor at Vintage Park at San Martin Memory Care. Erin received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont. She is certified in CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), First-Aid, and as a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Erin joined the Silver Sky and Silver Sky at Deer Springs team in October of 2016 as the Assistant Wellness Director, and was promoted to Assistant Administrator prior to taking the role of Director of Wellness. Erin has a passion for helping improve the lives of the elderly and their families.

Michelle Friese, R.N.

Michelle is the Wellness Director at Silver Sky Assisted Living. She oversees the department of more than 20 employees charged with providing care and medication to over 90 residents on a regular basis. Michelle would like to one day to earn a Master’s Degree in the Nursing field with a major in the instructor side. She grew up in Champaign, Illinois. She attended CPA school and worked her way through school until she decided healthcare was her passion. ?From there, she became a Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, and then ultimately a Registered Nurse. Michelle has nursing experience in mental health facilities, orthopedics, and correctional facilities, and now with assisted living. She is new to the Las Vegas area.

Adan S. Ornelas

Adan S. Ornelas is the Executive Chef at HAND Senior Living. He oversees the daily food service operations at Silver Sky and Silver Sky at Deer Springs. He strives every day to provide an exceptional dining experience for residents. Chef Adan believes nutrition is essential in every meal and takes pride in producing dishes full of color, taste, and freshness with high quality products. He has over 10 years of food service management experience,previously serving as Executive Chef for North Vista Hospital for eight years. He also has experience in high volume catering events in Las Vegas and surrounding areas. Chef Adan has completed Business Management and Culinary Programs at both Brigham Young University Idaho and the University of Florida.

Scott Conti

I started cooking as a child with my Italian Nonna in the Bronx. My passion for food continued in High School with my first restaurant job in a fine dining French. I later Graduated from The Scottsdale Culinary Institute, I worked for The Arizona Biltmore a 5 Star resort in Phoenix. I have been part of the opening teams for major resorts, I spent five years as the Food Service Director For Atria Senior Living, were I won the Corporate Iron Chef competition twice. My Latest position was the last seven years as the Executive Chef For a very High Volume and popular Sports Pub on the Las Vegas Strip. Were I was the overall peoples choice winner of the city wide epicurean event poolside at Mandalay Bay Resort out of 130 competitors.

Maria Mandaleni-Orozco

Maria Mandaleni-Orozco began her sales and marketing career in the casino industry as a casino host over 19 years ago and then went to work for the State of Nevada as an Auditor with the Gaming Control Board. She decided to delve back into marketing, but this time as a liaison for hospice and home health. Maria has a true passion for serving others, mostly, the senior population and wanted to transition into assisted living, where she feels she can make a difference in the lives of the residents and their families.
